Qurbani, Aqiqa & Sadaqa

"Their meat and blood does not reach Allah but your piety does" (al-Quran: Al-Hajj Verse 22)

The method of Aqiqa is that if a boy is born, two goats or two sheep (mutton/lamb) should be slaughtered. If a girl is born, one goat or one sheep (mutton/lamb) should be slaughtered. Furthermore, the child's head should be shaved, the hair should be weighed, and gold or silver equal to the weight of the hair should be given in charity.

To purchase animals for Qurbani, Aqiqa or Sadaqa, the name of the dedication muct be given as a prayer is said for the person. All animals are slaughtered within the slaughterhouse under EEC rules and regulations.

For qurbani, livestocks are arranged 6 months prior to sacrifice and are fed naturally and kept in a healthy condition to ensure that the animals meet the requirements for Qurbani animals.
