The word Halal usually means that the food that is permissible to eat according to Islamic law. The basic criteria for halal food refer to the Al Quran and Hadith. . As a Muslim country, Halal requirements must be complied with at all stages of the production and supply chain, including procurement of raw materials and ingredients, logistics, and transportation, packaging, and labeling. Product of ‘halalness’ is a sensitive issue nowadays. It is obligatory for Muslims to consume halal food and use halal products solely because they do not eat and use consumer goods for the sake of pleasure only but also for performing their duties, responsibilities, and mission in this world. Halal lamb is one of the increasing demands nowadays but slaughtering it in a method which is mentioned by Islamic laws makes it halal. It is also important that slaughtered lamb should be consumed not the lamb which is not slaughtered according to Islamic law or the lamb which have a natural death. The preparation of halal lamb matters a lot. God’s name must be invoked in a one-line blessing called the Tasmiyah, said before being slaughtered. British Halal Food Authority slaughter men use the most common version, “Bismillahi-Allahu Akbar” (In the name of Allah the greatest). Reciting a short blessing beginning with “Bismillah” (in the name of Allah) is a prerequisite for Muslims before embarking on any significant task. Orthodox Jews recite similar everyday blessings, including a prayer used before performing kosher slaughtering
